THE CANTERBURY EXPERIENCE

Children need to know how to get, process, and share information, but just as importantly, they need to be self-aware and compassionate. Students graduate with all the tools to embark on a meaningful life — a life that embodies Canterbury’s motto: To Learn, To Love, To Serve: To Live.

The Canterbury Experience

The Canterbury Experience

Canterbury’s unique educational setting creates a learning community where every aspect of the school day is designed to help students become their very best selves. Our classes are small – about 32 in each grade, so every child is known and loved. As a Preschool - 8th grade school, we focus exclusively on young learners. We believe it’s important to educate the whole child in mind, body, and spirit. And we are part of a long Episcopal School tradition of strong academics and inquiry-based learning in a community that values diversity. Students leave Canterbury with the skills to be responsible citizens, capable problem solvers, creative thinkers, effective communicators, and respected leaders.
