Facility Rentals
Canterbury School’s 37-acre campus, centrally located in Greensboro, is available for community rentals when not being used for school events. Our facilities are well-suited to support a wide range of rentals from meetings and professional gatherings to performances and athletic practices. The campus also serves as a beautiful backdrop for milestone celebrations and special occasions such as weddings.
Weddings
Nestled within Canterbury’s picturesque campus, Phillips Chapel offers a truly unforgettable setting for weddings both intimate and grand. With soaring Gothic architecture, stunning stained glass windows, seating for up to 450 guests, and a custom-built organ, the chapel creates an atmosphere that feels both sacred and timeless. Surrounded by family and friends, couples exchange vows in a space thoughtfully designed to honor life’s most meaningful moments.
For couples looking to continue the celebration, reception packages are also available in Berry Hall, offering a warm and elegant space for dining, dancing, and gathering with family and friends — all conveniently located on Canterbury’s beautiful campus.
Athletic Spaces
Athletic facilities include indoor and outdoor spaces designed to support practices, games, camps, and recreational programs. Spaces for rent include:
- Haley Athletic Center: can be utilized as a single basketball or volleyball court, or two practice courts with curtain separation; bleacher seating; track around the second level
- Outdoor Athletic Field: used primarily as a soccer and lacrosse field
- Outdoor Tennis Courts: six outdoor tennis courts
Small and Large Group Event Spaces
Canterbury has space to accommodate small group meetings and workshops, as well as large group gatherings and events, including performances and presentations. Spaces for rent include:
- Brown Hall Meeting Room: intended for small group meetings and workshops; flexible table and chair set up; large screen available for projecting; can accommodate up to 50 guests with tables or up to 75 guests in a seated arrangement without tables.
- Berry Hall: can be used for large group events and performances; includes a raised stage, LCD projector and screen, microphone and speaker system, and catering kitchen; can accommodate 300 people; flexible outdoor spaces include a courtyard on one side and covered porch on the other
