The privacy of our students, faculty, staff, parents and community has always been of utmost importance to Canterbury School. At Canterbury, we respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. This statement informs you of our privacy policy. Control of Personal Information Collection and Use
We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally we will only collect personal information about you when you complete forms that request such information (e.g., filling out an emergency contact form, completing an online survey, registering for hot lunch, joining the Canterbury Parents’ Association, etc). The personal information you provide to Canterbury School is considered private data. The data may be shared with employees of Canterbury School as necessary to provide the specific service requested, but no personal identification information is ever shared with other organizations, advertisers, or other third parties without explicit permission. Canterbury School will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

- 2. protect and defend the rights or property of Canterbury School, and,

Commitment to Security
The School is committed to ensuring the safety of the website and its users. The site has security measures in place to protect all information under our control. The network infrastructure is protected by a firewall and traffic is monitored and logged both on the firewall and on the servers. All administrative activities are carried out over secure, encrypted links.
