Student life at Canterbury extends well beyond the classroom. Through the arts, athletics, leadership opportunities, spiritual life, and enrichment programs, students discover new interests, build confidence, and develop meaningful connections.
Each experience encourages students to try new things, support one another, and grow as individuals within a caring and connected community. From preschool through 8th grade, students are encouraged to participate, contribute, and take an active role in shaping their school experience.

ARTS
Creativity and Expression.
The arts play an important role in helping students helping students share their unique gifts. build confidence, and develop creativity. Through visual arts, music, and performance opportunities, students explore different forms of expression while learning discipline and collaboration.

ATHLETICS
Movement and Teamwork.
Athletics provide opportunities for students to build confidence, develop healthy habits, and learn the value of teamwork. Through physical education and team sports, students challenge themselves, support their peers, and develop skills that extend beyond the playing field.

LEADERSHIP
Learn to lead by leading.
Leadership opportunities are part of everyday life at Canterbury. Because Canterbury ends at 8th grade, older students step into meaningful leadership roles that help shape the culture of the school and provide opportunities to mentor younger students.
Through these experiences, students develop confidence, empathy, and a sense of responsibility to others.
Growing with purpose
As an Episcopal school, Canterbury encourages students to reflect, ask questions, and develop a sense of compassion and respect for others. Spiritual life is grounded in values such as kindness, integrity, service, and gratitude.
Chapel, service opportunities, and shared traditions help students develop an understanding of community and their role within it.
Summer Camp
SUMMER AT CANTERBURY
Summer camp provide opportunities for students to stay active, explore interests, and continue learning in a supportive environment. Camp engages children in indoor and outdoor play and is designed to encourage kindness, cooperation, and fun.
Canterbury summer helps students build friendships, try new activities, and continue growing throughout the year.
Cougar Quest
SUMMER AT CANTERBURY
Cougar Quest offers offers after-school activities that allow students to explore new interests, build skills, and engage in hands-on learning experiences outside the traditional classroom schedule.
Programs vary throughout the year and provide enrichment opportunities for creativity, discovery, and collaboration.
Extended Day
SUPPORT FOR BUSY FAMILIES
Extended Day provides a safe, engaging environment for students after the school day. Students participate in supervised activities, creative play, and opportunities to connect with peers in a relaxed setting.
This program offers flexibility for families while ensuring students continue to feel supported and engaged after school.
