Drama builds self-confidence, teaches students to work through obstacles to achieve a goal, and develops self-discipline.
Every spring, the Canterbury Players stage a major production. Past shows have included “Bye Bye Birdie,” “Suessical,” and “Grease.” Students have the opportunity to be involved in every aspect of production, including taking leading and supporting roles, creating scenery, working on the backstage crew, and running the sound booth.
Involvement in the spring drama production is an after-school option for middle school students. It requires commitment, so during spring semester, students are asked to choose between working on the production and participating in sports.
Coming This Spring!
Public performances: March 31, 7 p.m. and April 1, 7 p.m., in Berry Hall.
